Whale Watching St Lucia, South Africa

HUMPBACK AND SOUTHERN RIGHT WHALES

Fom June until the end of November Humpback and Southern right whales migrate past our coastline to there calving grounds in the warm waters of Mozambique. This is your opportunity to jion a whale watching trip out to sea to witness these huge majestic creatures. Your journey starts with a exilirating launch through the surf with Advantage whale watching safaris. Once out at sea the search is on to find these huge giants. Sightings are almost garaunteed getting as close as 50 meters from these 40 ton giants, its an experience of a life time. While aboard your skipper and guide will be giving informative talks and interesting information on the whales you see. During your trip its also possible to spot other marine life including dophins, manta rays and flying fish. Water proof jackets are provided and its no problem taking along cameras as these can be stored in water tight compartments through the surf launch. Have a whale of a time.

Whale Watching Zavora, Mozambique

Also between June and November you will find the Southern right and Humpback whales along this coast and whats more they are easily spotted from the shore. the concentrations of them seem to be numerous and many will have baby calves with them. There is no actual boat based whale watching trips in Zavora, howerver if you jion a scuba diving trip during this time of the year you are bound to spot quite a few. While volunteering with us in Mozambique its quite possible to spot up to 30 whales a day from the comfort of our accommodation.
